Integrated sexual health services
Integrated Sexual Health (iSH) is provided from our dedicated clinic based at Gaol Street Health Centre in Hereford.
Anyone who is, or has ever been sexually active should have routine screening. Irrespective of your age, gender or sexuality, we offer free, confidential screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and routine or emergency contraception
We are an open-access service - so you don’t need to see your GP first - you don’t even need to live locally. Simply come to the walk-in clinic between Monday to Friday, 9am to 11am, or call 01432 378915 for appointments.
- All cases have been in men – both straight men and ‘men who have sex with men’ – but women are at risk.
- Oral sex is the main way that syphilis is spreading in Herefordshire
- A simple blood test will tell you if you have syphilis.
- Come to our drop-in clinic between Monday to Friday 8.45am to 11am (click on the right hand page link for opening times).

Friends and Family Test
The Friends and Family Test is a simple question that patients are asked about the care they have received. The test is part of a way of gathering patient feedback and driving improvement in NHS hospital services across the country. To find out more about the Friends and Family Test click here.
