Herefordshire residents are invited to attend a falls prevention event in Hereford High Town from Monday June 20 to Friday June 24.
Free advice and tips on how to prevent falls for adults will be available from local hospital healthcare experts.
It’s the fourth year that Wye Valley NHS Trust has organised this week of falls prevention events for residents.
Physiotherapist and occupational therapists will be on hand from Monday June 20 to Friday June 24, from 9am to 4pm, in Hereford High Town, offering advice on how to help prevent falls, such as eating a balanced diet to maintain healthy bones, wearing suitable footwear, using appropriate walking aids and ensuring your home is trip hazard free.
Jo Burns, falls prevention service team leader at Wye Valley NHS Trust, said: “If anyone is worried about their balance, dizziness or falls, or a friend or relatives, come along to our stand in High Town for free advice”.
