National inpatient survey results published for Wye Valley NHS Trust Figures published following the results of the national inpatients survey - which captured the views of more than 77,000 people who spent at least one night in hospital in the UK last year - show good feedback from WVT patients and highlights where improvements can be made. The national survey included 1,203 people who had received care and treatment from Wye Valley NHS trust during July 2016.
One ward at Hereford County Hospital has been closed to visitors due to a confirmed case of Norovirus. As a preventative measure, visiting to the Gilwern ward has been closed at the County Hospital to prevent the further spread of Norovirus which is affecting some patients.

Babies in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Hereford County Hospital are set to benefit after the Leominster and Bodenham Quilters presented the unit with colourful quilts.
Visiting restrictions at the County Hospital’s Gilwern Unit have been lifted. The unit, for frail and elderly patients, was closed to visitors last week following an outbreak of Norovirus.
A ward at Hereford County Hospital has been closed to visitors due to increased incidents of diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
