Local hospitals offer free patient and visitor parking on Christmas Day and Boxing Day
Wye Valley NHS Trust is pleased to offer free parking on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, 25 and 26 December 2018, to patients and visitors at Hereford County Hospital, Ross, Leominster and Bromyard Community Hospitals.
The car park entry/exit barriers at Hereford County Hospital will be raised on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and the pay machines will be taken out of action temporarily to allow free parking on these days for patients and visitors.
At the Trust’s three community hospitals, Ross, Leominster and Bromyard, signs will be displayed on the pay machines advising that parking is free on these two festive days.
Christian Homersley, head of estates, facilities and capital planning, at Wye Valley NHS Trust, said: “We are pleased to offer free parking to patients and relatives on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as we know that patients would prefer to be at home at Christmas and hopefully this makes it easier for relatives visiting on these days”.
Hereford County Hospital provides a number of parking concessions on other days of the year and at its community hospitals. To find out more visit www.wyevalley.nhs.uk (click on the County Hospital parking link on the home page).
