Invitation to Wye Valley NHS Trust’s Annual General Meeting and #AmazingWVTstaff awards ceremony
Wye Valley NHS Trust is inviting members of the public, patients, and staff members, to its Annual General Meeting on 11 July, 6pm, at Hereford Shire Hall.
There will be a variety of healthcare exhibition stands, including some from external partner organisations. For the second year running, there will be the #AmazingWVTstaff awards ceremony to recognise the Trust’s dedicated staff who go the extra mile every day to provide high quality care for patients.
The Trust Board of directors will present an overview of the performance during the last twelve months and future plans. Those attending will be given the opportunity to put questions to the Board.
Russell Hardy, Chairman at Wye Valley NHS Trust, said: “This is a great opportunity to find out about the progress being made at the Trust to deliver our quality priorities, improve urgent care, develop our workforce, improve patient flow, and work towards providing seven day services.
“We are making good progress against our objectives thanks to our extremely hard working staff, and by working as part of the Foundation Group with two other NHS Trusts we are seeing the benefits of sharing best practice and improving whole system patient pathways.”
The agenda, minutes from last year’s meeting, and summary Annual Report will be available at the meeting and the full Annual Report/Accounts will be published on the Trust’s website www.wyevalley.nhs.uk
If you would like to attend the meeting, please call Fiona Gurney on 01432 372928 or email Fiona.gurney@wvt.nhs.uk by 2 July 2019.
