New opportunities to work and train as a healthcare support worker in Herefordshire

Wye Valley NHS Trust is launching full time apprenticeships for people interested in a career in healthcare in Herefordshire, which provide opportunities to train as a healthcare support worker, and the team will be in Hereford High Town on Friday 17 December, from 10am until 4pm, where you can find out more.

Public urged to only take antibiotics when needed to help save lives (1)

Members of the public are being urged to only take antibiotics when they need them to help keep antibiotics working for the treatment of serious infections. NHS healthcare organisations across Herefordshire are raising awareness of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW), which takes place from 18 to 24 November and European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD) on 18 November, which highlight the real threat of the overuse of antibiotics particularly during the pandemic.
