Invitation to Wye Valley NHS Trust’s virtual Annual General Meeting and recognition of #AmazingWVTstaff

Wye Valley NHS Trust is inviting members of the public and patients to its virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) taking place on Thursday 15 July at 6pm, which will showcase new and innovative ways local healthcare staff are working to improve patient care and services.

The Trust’s AGM will be streamed live.  The live streaming link will be made available via the Trust’s website page www.wyevalley.nhs.uk/about-us/annual-general-meeting 

The Trust Board of directors will present an overview of the performance during the last twelve months and future plans, followed by recognition of all #AmazingWVTstaff at the Trust. 

Russell Hardy, Chairman at Wye Valley NHS Trust, said: “This year’s AGM is a fantastic opportunity to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication, hear about the progress we have been making in the last twelve months and future plans. 

“Our staff have faced another very challenging year due to the pandemic and I am very proud of their achievements and innovative ways of working to improve patient care and services. 

“The meeting will include a short video of our staff achievements and innovations, which have enabled quicker patient diagnosis through our one stop urology clinic and ground breaking endoscopy technology, premature babies are able to return home earlier with specialist support, and the vaccination of thousands of healthcare staff and patients at our local COVID-19 vaccination HUBs”.

The agenda, minutes from last year’s meeting, summary Annual Report, and full Annual Report/Accounts will be available prior to the meeting on the Trust’s website www.wyevalley.nhs.uk/about-us/annual-general-meeting

Supplementary questions can also be submitted up to 48 hours after the AGM has taken place.
