Garway Ward

Garway Ward is one of our new wards located on the Hereford County Hospital site, which provides modern, state-of-the art facilities for our patients.  

The ward is accessible through the main Hereford County Hospital building and link corridor that leads to the new wards.

Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) 

On Garway Ward, we also have a Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) area, open during the day, allowing specialist frailty hospital staff to rapidly assess and diagnose patients whose condition can be treated without the need for an overnight stay in hospital. Patients are referred to the unit by Emergency Department frailty team or their GP.
