Additional Comments

Due to the nature of the environment, we tend to restrict visiting to close relatives/friends, although this is negotiable depending on condition of patient. Children are also restricted. Visitors are required to ring door bell to gain access. We also only allow 2 visitors at a bedspace at one time, although again this is negotiable with the nurse in charge depending on patient's condition.

Infection Prevention & Control
We are very aware of the importance of maintaining a clean environment and would ask that all visitors to the ward use the hand gel on entering and leaving the ward. Visitors are asked not to visit if they have stomach upsets or cold symptoms.
