Helping to enhance Healthcare in Herefordshire
We are all in the middle of unprecedented times and our staff here at Wye Valley NHS Trust are working tirelessly to support the public through this crisis; however we are starting to feel the true impact of this additional and excessive strain on the wider NHS service. Therefore we really do need your support now, more than ever before.
The NHS is at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus and our dedicated staff, from domestics to doctors, nurses to porters here at Hereford County Hospital and our three community hospitals are doing their upmost to care for those most at risk, including the elderly, pregnant women, young children and those with underlying health issues.
We know we are extremely lucky to have the most incredible, loyal and caring supporters at our hospitals, many of you have spent hours training for challenges or preparing for fundraising events which have now been cancelled or postponed.
But the reality is that our charity is going to feel the impact of this lack of fundraising income, and that’s why we’re asking you today for your help. By donating what you can, or by committing to giving on a regular basis, you can help us to continue some of our essential hospital, patient and staff support. You can also donate items to help boost the morale of our staff.
This is a tough time for all of us, especially our staff who we also need to take care of, to ensure that they can take care of you and your family, friends and neighbours.
Thank you for all that you have done, and will continue to do for us and with us. We really appreciate your support at this very uncertain time.

We are always very appreciate of any donations.
The Trust receives government funding for healthcare, and aims to provide the best possible facilities, equipment and environment for patients, services users, visitors and staff, but there is always more we can do to enhance the healthcare we provide.
We provide many healthcare services across Herefordshire and the surrounding areas; acute care, rehabilitation at community hositals, and community services such as district nursing, school nursing and health visiting.
Each year generous companies and individuals help us to raise much-needed funds and the Trust has benefited over several years from charitable donations.

How donations have helped
Wye Valley NHS Trust is fortunate to receive charitable donations from patients, service users, supportive members of our community, and charities, which continue to help enhance our facilities and provide additional equipment.
Charitable donations have assisted the trust with funding monitoring equipment for the special care baby unit, and even the development of parts of our estate such as the cancer facility, The Macmillan Renton Unit..
