Where to go when you arrive at hospital Patients are asked to report to the reception area indicated on their appointment letter.  Patients attending appointments in Oxford Suite, Eign Suite and Audiology please check in at the main reception at the front entrance to Hereford County Hospital. When you receive a letter, giving you information of the date and time of your appointment, it should state which reception area that you need to attend. Gynaecology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the woman’s reproductive system. We deal with various women’s health problems including early pregnancy ones. The doctors in the department are also obstetricians and so work closely with the midwives in the maternity department. Musculoskeletal Musculoskeletal problems are referred to the service by a GP or consultant. Referrals for service users being seen in a physiotherapy department (Bromyard. Ledbury, Kington, Leominster, Ross) will be screened by a senior physiotherapist and classed as either urgent or routine. Service users are telephoned to make an appointment if urgent. If the referral is routine they will be sent a letter asking them to telephone the relevant physiotherapy department to make a convenient appointment.
