Introduction The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) department provides diagnostic and treatment facilities for a wide range of ear, nose and throat diseases. Outline of the department The department consists of four consultants who provide services between Hereford and Worcester. They are supported by one Foundation Year doctor, one resident doctor, and two clinical nurse specialists. There is a fully staffed audiology department providing hearing services and hearing aids. In December 2017, Wye Valley NHS Trust embarked on a fundraising appeal to improve the maternity bereavement facilities, services and aftercare support provided at Hereford County Hospital. A project group was formed to oversee the project. This included patient representatives to look at existing practices and procedures to ensure the new facility offered meets the needs of bereaved families and continually developed, reviewed and improved. Dermatology The Dermatology department is based at the Gaol Street Health Centre, with some surgery being performed at the County Hospital. A wide range of services are offered to help diagnose and manage adults and children with skin, hair and nail problems. We manage a wide range of inflammatory skin conditions and skin cancers in an out-patient and in-patient setting. Welcome to our breast surgery website page. We hope you find this information helpful.   The Breast Surgery Department specialises in diagnosing and managing breast disorders, and where necessary breast surgery is conducted to remove cancerous tumours and lymph nodes.  If breast surgery is required this is currently being carried out at the County Hospital in Hereford. The County Hospital offers 10 new patient clinics every week allowing excellent access to the breast services. The Pathology Laboratory provides a full range of pathology investigations for Herefordshire and some areas in Powys. Samples originate from the County Hospital, General Practice surgeries and the Community Hospitals.
