Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
Please bring your appointment letter and any information requested in your appointment instructions. You may also wish to bring a list of any medication you are currently taking.
Can someone come with me?
This will depend on the type of examination and the clinical environment. Please contact the department before your appointment if you require someone to accompany you for support. Depending on the examination you are having and the level of care they provide they may be asked to also complete some paperwork if your examination involves radiation.
Can I eat and drink before my scan?
This depends on the examination you are having. Always follow the preparation instructions included with your appointment.
How long will my appointment take?
The length of an appointment varies considerably depending on the examination. Your appointment information may provide an estimated duration. Please allow additional time for changing, preparation and waiting. Please also take this into consideration for transportation purposes.
Can I bring children with me?
