Service overview

Service Overview

The service aims to actively promote bladder and bowel continence.  We are able to identify and assess patients, give advice and best management for their incontinence needs, helping to improve their quality of life.  The service provides clinical assessment, advice and support for patients and their families.  We work closely with GPs, district nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, the dementia team, mental health, social services and care agencies to ensure a seamless service is provided.  We provide teaching to health and social care professionals.

The service is offered to people four years and older who are registered with a Herefordshire GP.

How To Contact Us

See right hand side of this website page for contact details.

Opening Hours

The service runs from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

The service is located at clinics at Sarum House, Leominster, Bromyard, Ross and Ledbury.  In addition we provide input and advice in the County Hospital, community hospitals and residential homes.

Where patients are completely housebound home visits can sometimes be arranged.

We accept referrals from GPs, consultants, nurses and social care.  In addition people can refer themselves by completing a Self-Referral Form (available from the team)

We aim to see urgent referrals within two weeks and routine referrals within six weeks.
