The Trust runs a Wound Review Clinic at the County Hospital site. The clinic provides a post-operative wound dressing service – the removal of stitches and sutures. It is based in the mobile unit at the front of the County Hospital site – patients are asked to check in for appointments at the main hospital reception desk. The Podiatry department provides care to patients who have a significant foot condition and a relevant medical history.  Many of these patients require ongoing treatment. We aim to keep patients feet healthy and pain free, thereby enable patients to remain mobile, independent and active for as long as possible. If you had a planned caesarean section then you will need to stay in hospital for at least 24 hours after your baby is born.
