Hereford County Hospital address The postcode and address is Stonebow Road, The County Hospital, Hereford, HR1 2BN Accident & Emergency location The Accident & Emergency (A&E) department is located at the far end of the main hospital building. All patients and visitors to this department must use the designated A&E entrance. There is a drop-off and collection point at the main A&E entrance, and designated parking spaces for individuals with disabilities. The parking area is managed by a private contractor and charges apply, though concessions are available. There is more information on how to find us and available parking.

If you had a planned caesarean section then you will need to stay in hospital for at least 24 hours after your baby is born. If you had an emergency caesarean then you will more likely stay in hospital for 48 hours. When you come out of theatre you will have a urinary catheter, this is a small flexible plastic tube which sits in your bladder and collects urine in a bag. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is investigating a number of cases of monkeypox in England. Monkeypox is a viral infection usually associated with travel to West Africa. It is usually a mild self-limiting illness, spread by very close contact with someone with monkeypox and most people recover within a few weeks. The virus can spread if there is close contact between people and the risk to the UK population is low.
