The pre-operative assessment unit is situated at the back of the hospital which is clearly sign posted from the main entrance.  It is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the main entrance but if you require assistance or a wheelchair please ask at the hospital main reception. The Respiratory Department manages a significant amount of patients in the outpatient setting. This is where people are investigated, managed and monitored by attending clinics. Patients who visit from home (also called “outpatients”) are given medical treatment or advice in these clinics and often receive regular follow up. Same Day Emergency Care Unit (FSDEC) is an extension of the emergency department. The unit provides specialist care which focusses on providing a safe, timely discharge following a comprehensive assessment on the same day.

The Urology department deals with both male and female urinary and genital problems which might require medical or surgical treatment.
