Accident and Emergency Department (A&E) Hereford county hospital

The ‘Macmillan Renton Unit’ is a purpose built outpatient facility at Wye Valley NHS Trust, in Hereford, which opened in 2011. Macmillan Renton is an outpatient unit caring for patients who have cancer or where cancer is suspected. Haematology outpatient appointments are also held in this unit. Outpatient clinics as well as radiotherapy and chemotherapy are held daily (Monday to Friday), as well as other treatments, such as blood transfusions.  The Unit is supported by a broad range of staff. Blossom and Lavender RoomFunded through our Charity ‘The Born Sleeping Appeal’ at Hereford County Hospital we have a specially designed home from home suite called the Blossom Suite. Here you can be cared for after birth and spend time with your baby should you wish. Set apart from the maternity department we have a private room called the Lavender Room that can be used for counselling or follow up appointments. Local Counter Fraud Specialist We have a Local Counter Fraud service provided for Wye Valley NHS Trust who hold the required accreditation to undertake such work. The Trust is responsible for the administration of public funds for the purpose of providing health care to the community we serve. The respiratory physiology service at Wye Valley NHS Trust provides a service in respiratory, exercise and sleep physiology, for inpatients and outpatients from the Trust. Back to Cardiac Services Hereford Cardiology Unit (also known as Heart & Lung) is based in the Oxford Suite at Hereford Hospitals.
