Local Counter Fraud Specialist We have a Local Counter Fraud service provided for Wye Valley NHS Trust who hold the required accreditation to undertake such work. The Trust is responsible for the administration of public funds for the purpose of providing health care to the community we serve. At your booking appointment your midwife will go through all the screening that you will be offered during pregnancy and for your baby once they are born. The first screening will involve a blood test at your initial appointment, which will be looking for infectious diseases, your rhesus factor, your haemoglobin level, your blood type and if you have any antibodies.  Also at this appointment your midwife will make a referral for you to have a dating scan, which will give you an estimated date of birth for baby.  At this scan they will ask if you would like to…

There are many ways to help. However much time you are able to give, there will be a role to suit you. There are opportunities at the County Hospital site in Hereford, the community hospitals in Leominster, Bromyard and Ross-on-Wye, and also from home. Usual volunteer hours are Monday to Friday, either in the morning or afternoon.  We do, however, also have some weekend and evening roles available too.
