Welcome to Wye Valley NHS Trust Community Diagnostic Centre, which is located on the northern side of Hereford city. This purpose-built centre offers modern facilities and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. It brings together the latest MRI, CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound technology, enabling us to play a vital role in identifying and treating illnesses more quickly and closer to home.

General Scans (including x-ray, MRI and CT scan) Please note that depending on scan you had, there is usually a time gap between having the scan and the results becoming available to us. Once the report has been made available, the clinician will receive a copy, this will then be reviewed and you will either receive the results via a results letter, telephone call or be informed of the results at your next appointment. The County Hospital has its own Angiography Suite where cardiac diagnostic tests, heart pacing, and the fitting of pacemakers are carried out. The Suite has its own dedicated staff, which assists the doctor and takes care of patients during their visit. It is managed by the heart and lung department. About the service Our health visiting teams work with families, early years, health colleagues and other agencies to support the health and wellbeing of pre-school children across Herefordshire. Health visitors are qualified nurses or midwives who have additional training in specialist community and public health nursing.
