Where to go when you arrive at hospital Patients are asked to report to the reception area indicated on their appointment letter.  Patients attending appointments in Oxford Suite, Eign Suite and Audiology please check in at the main reception at the front entrance to Hereford County Hospital. When you receive a letter, giving you information of the date and time of your appointment, it should state which reception area that you need to attend. Children and young people are welcome, although it is sensible to avoid bringing very young children into hospitals where possible and this needs to be discussed with ward staff in advance. Protected meal times All non-urgent clinical activity stops during mealtimes to allow patients to eat their meals in a calm and relaxing environment without unnecessary interruption.   We want to help all staff members and potential employees to find rental accomodation that is suitable and convenient for them wherever possible.   Wye Valley NHS Trust has a large profile of accomodation that is available in the area within a ten minute walking distance of The County Hospital site and surrounding areas close to the community hospitals.   Who is eligible? The accommodation is available to everybody involved directly with the Trust, but priority is given to clinical staff moving to the hospitals from out of area. There are many ways to help. However much time you are able to give, there will be a role to suit you. There are opportunities at the County Hospital site in Hereford, the community hospitals in Leominster, Bromyard and Ross-on-Wye, and also from home.
