Two hospital wards at Hereford County closed to visitors
Two wards at Hereford County Hospital have been closed to visitors due to cases of diarrhoea and vomiting (caused by Norovirus). As a preventative measure, visiting to Gilwern and Garway wards has been stopped (except in exceptional cases) to prevent the further spread of diarrhoea and vomiting which is affecting some patients. Wye Valley NHS Trust asks that friends and relatives call these wards to check the restrictions that are in place prior to planning a visit.
